Submersible Slurry Pump Casings

Hydroman™ Submersible Slurry Pump Casing is another main wear part which directs slurries to the pump outlet in unlined submersible slurry pumps.

Most Submersible slurry pump casings are slower than water pumps with large clearance at the cut water, this volute casing form gives a little less efficiency compared with clean water pumps. However, this volute casing form reduce wear through lower internal velocities, and this is best compromise between wear life and efficiency.

Submersible slurry pump casings are normally made in wear resistant cast iron of 27%-30% chrome, special alloys are also available.
